9月3日，山东巨野县联合调查组发布情况通报：

近日，有家长反映南关小学六年级临时教学点教室存在装修异味，部分学生身体不适，引发社会关注。我县高度重视，第一时间成立由教体、卫健、住建等部门组成的联合调查组开展核查处置。目前南关小学已将六年级全体学生迁回校本部，有序组织复课。

衷心感谢广大家长和社会各界对我县教育工作的关心监督。

A joint investigation team in Juye county, Shandong province, said in a statement on Thursday that Nanguan Primary School had moved all sixth-grade students back to the main campus and resumed classes, amid parental concerns over a pungent odor at a temporary teaching site.

The statement said the county had formed a task force involving education, health and housing authorities to investigate the matter. It did not provide further details about the investigation.

近日，山东菏泽巨野县南关小学部分六年级学生家长反映，该年级段的学生新学期搬迁至新校区后，教室及楼道内存在明显刺激性气味，多名学生出现头晕、流鼻血等症状。

该校六年级另一名学生家长黄女士（化姓）表示，1日放学后，孩子曾反映在学校呼吸不顺畅，“当时没当回事”。2日当天，她发现孩子出现嗓子红肿、浑身无力、头晕等状况，随后请假在家。她还透露，孩子所在班级共有56人，目前已有41人请假。

According to earlier reports, parents of sixth-grade students at the school had complained about a strong chemical smell in newly arranged classrooms and hallways after the sixth-grade classes were moved to a temporary site for the new semester. Several children reported symptoms such as dizziness and nosebleeds. One parent told local media that 41 of the 56 students in her child's class had stayed home due to illness.

上述家长均提供了一份教学楼内的视频，李女士称，9月2日晚有家长代表进入教学楼，发现还有油漆尚未干透，室内气味浓重，还有工人正在忙碌。

9月3日，巨野县教育和体育局一名工作人员表示，刺鼻的味道主要来自油漆门，不涉及甲醛超标问题：“昨天已经全部拆除了。为了增加通风，还在教室里安装了风扇。”

A local education official said on Thursday that the odor was coming from painted doors rather than formaldehyde. "We removed all the doors yesterday," the official said, adding that fans had been installed in the classrooms to improve ventilation.
